What could
have happened if Wilbur had not been caught so soon after his escape? Write a
story of Wilbur's one day of freedom on the farm. What other animals could he
have met? What adventures could he have had?
Kiandria writes: If Wilbur had escaped maybe another person would pick him
up and might kill him. Then Fern would be sad, and all the other animals
would cry.
Batuhan
writes: I think if Wilbur was not caught he would go to the woods and meet
wild animals. First, when Wilbur is at the woods he could be scared from
the dark, and he will miss the farm. Next when he misses the farm he will
be upset so he goes back to the farm. Last he will be so happy there so he
will never ever escape again. In conclusion, this is what I think would
happen if he was not caught.
Kenly
writes: Wilbur could have seen squirrels, birds, caterpillars, turtles,
and fish. He could have gone to the circus or the zoo.
Jaleel writes: Wilbur might find some friend, and he might escape from
him, too. He will be so lonely and he might need food or something to sleep
on. He might want to leave the woods.
Catherine
writes: Do you know if Wilbur didn't get away he wouldn't see the
world? First, he could meet a raccoon. Next he could meet a
cat. Last he could have adventures in the city.
