Fern felt that her father was doing the wrong thing to kill the runty pig. How do you feel? Who was right, Fern or her father? Explain your answer.

Batuhan writes:  I am going to believe Fern because it is not fair because when somebody is small you don't have to kill it.  First, when somebody is small give them a chance so they might grow.  Next, I would be upset of the pig because you don't have to kill it because it is weak.  Last, if you see a baby pig feed him so he could be strong.  In conclusion, this is why you don't kill a pig.

Emily writes:  I agree with Fern.  First, if I were Fern I would be miserable.  Next, it is an injustice for Fern, and she is blue.  Last, I will cry because it is a runt pig.  Finally I will tell you this is why I agree with Fern.
